K's for R U OK?
“It’s not about how fast or far you can go. It’s about connection, commitment and consistency”
You choose the distance you’ll cover daily. You choose where, with who, and how you complete your K’s (run or jog, walk and talk, wheel or push). You commit to your goal every day in July. And every K you log helps us create a more connected world. Join us this July for #ksforruok.
I’m tying this in with my Tour de Kilt 2021. Fingers crossed I don’t break by August!

Tour de Kilt 2021
I (think) I’m again going to walk the Tour de France... or rather, watch it on tv whilst walking on a treadmill from the start of each stage, to the time the first rider crosses the finish line. That’s about 87 hours worth of walking over 21 days. I’ll increase the incline in the mountain stages, and run during the sprints. Rest assured though… kilt yes, lycra no.
I’m still considering the sanity of doing this 2 years running…

All Kilt… All Year…
Breaking the stigma of talking openly about mental health
Mullets for Mental Health - The Black Dog Institute
A rather dubious hairstyle for a grand cause.
Throughout September, I’ll be sporting the ‘Business at the Top, Party at the Back” atrocity of a hairdo that makes you want to say “Road House” whilst listening to Michel Bolton.
It’s all about raising awareness and funds for The Black Dog Institute.
This will also serve as a way of directing any donations from the Tour de Kilt.
I’ve never wanted a razor in October more!
